I try to create a sacred space in therapy. I want clients to feel like they’re chatting with a trusted friend: safe, relaxed, and understood. I draw inspiration from St. John Paul II, who had a way of making people feel like they were the only person in the world when he spoke with them.
I strive to make my sessions feel cozy and safe. There’s usually coffee or matcha in my hand, and an atmosphere that invites openness with a mixture of faith-informed resources, laughter and relatability. We celebrate the small victories together, because those steps matter just as much as the big ones.
What fuels my passion and keeps me deeply connected to my vocation is the desire to love like Christ. I believe every person’s story is sacred, and it’s an honor to walk with my clients through some of the most vulnerable parts of their lives. I’m constantly inspired by their courage and commitment to healing.
Outside of my work as a therapist, I love diving deeper into my Catholic faith, especially through the teachings of St. John Paul II’s Theology of the Body. A small, but impactful, daily ritual that brings me joy is going to daily Mass—it grounds me and sets a peaceful tone for my day. I also enjoy exploring new hobbies that stretch me in creative and physical ways, like aerial dancing and painting. They give me a sense of joy, balance, and playfulness that I try to carry into all areas of my life.
